What we collect

  • Account info: your email address (from your Google or GitHub sign-in, or the email and password you register with), used to identify your account and contact you about it. Passwords are hashed and managed by Supabase; we never see or store them in plain text.
  • Content you submit: the resume text and job descriptions you paste or upload. Uploaded files are converted to text. If you upload a Word (.docx) resume while signed in, we also keep the original file — privately, only so we can give it back to you with your approved changes applied — and it is deleted when you delete the scan. Other file types are not retained.
  • Scan history: your match scores, the inputs that produced them, and any cover letters you generate and save, so you can revisit them in your dashboard.
  • Payment info: handled entirely by Stripe. We store only your subscription status and a Stripe customer ID — never your card details.
  • Anonymous usage analytics:page views and product events (e.g. "a scan was completed"), collected without cookies and not tied to your identity. We never send your resume or job-description content to analytics.

How we use it

To provide the service: scoring your resume, generating suggestions, saving your history, and managing your subscription. We do not sell your data or use your resume content to train AI models.

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers to run the product:

  • Anthropic — processes your resume and job description to generate scores and suggestions.
  • Supabase — stores your account, scans, and subscription status.
  • Stripe — processes payments.
  • PostHog — anonymous, cookieless usage analytics so we can improve the product.

Your choices

You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. Deleting your account removes your scans and stored resume content.
